Scientific visualisation work made with 3D computer graphics and also 2D animations for the agency Babydog and the Archeologic Museum of Baza. The piece illustrates the geological formation of the north of the Granada province in Spain.
The digital environments were built from real data from topological data bases. The 3D meshes were used in simulations of the terrain’s deformation caused by the movement of tectonic plates. Greater scale maps where integrated using 2D solutions. For the formation of lakes and rivers Greyman used some fluid simulations a flawless result.
The animations were designed in a 2D technique in which all characters were also designed from scratch by Greyman Studios.
